Announcements:

I have added a photo page so you all can have the pics of your kids at comps : Photos

If anyone has photo's they would like to add please talk to Janelle or Rob about adding them to the site.

Divisionals this year will be in Sacramento, CA at Pipeworks on June 13-14,2009.  Divisionals is by invitation only but you should all talk with your families and plan to make it so there are no unexpected time conflicts that prevent you from accepting your hard earned invites at the end of the season.

Great Job at the Circuit! I am so proud of each of you and congrats on completing your first comp of the season.  I am pleased with how each of you did and I hope that you take your experience at the first comp and use it to better prepair for future comps...PLEASE GET WARM BEFORE BIG COMPS BECAUSE YOU WON"T HAVE TIME TO DO FIVE EASY CLIMBS DURING THE COMP...some of you learned this the hard way this comp but that is fine. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE TALK WITH BIG SYDNEY EVEN IF YOU DON"T THINK YOU NEED HELP...you will do better if you show her your score card half way through the comp and ask for her ideas.  GREAT JOB YOU ALL ROCK!!

CHANGE IN PLANS: Big Sydney will no longer be attending the Club Sport Comp due to the fact that Tyson is getting married that day.  She will instead be attending the Edgeworks blacklight comp in Tacoma.  You should all attend both comps.

Registration for the Circuit Comp is open and the waiver and registration forms are on the PNW Page of rockcomps.com.  Get registered before October 3rd please.

REGISTER FOR USAC ASAP!  Cameron McNally (If you aren't competing in ABS you only need an SCS membership) and Torrey Burke-Weeks are not registered yet and must be before registering for the first comp. Tyler Hannon, Ruby Bender, Kayla Culmback, Quinn Shultis and Laurie Shultis are registered- great job!

INJURIES SUCK! Stay off the hang boards except during team. Do push ups no more than 3 days a week.  Please never climb more than 5 days in a week and usually only 3 or 4 days.  Abs may be done everyday. Overuse injuries are common in climbers and we all want to stay healthy so we can crush at comps.
